En Francia, los grupos terroristas y agencias de inteligencia luchan en una guerra sin piedad todos los días, en nombre de ideologías radicalmente opuestas. Sin embargo, terroristas y agentes secretos viven casi las mismas vidas. Diane es una estudiante reclutada por el servicio secreto francés, y Pierre, un joven con problemas que piensa que el terrorismo le traerá la salvación. This film belongs to the category where the less willing you are to think about the logic of events and the thought processes of the characters, the more you will like it. The visual aspects and directorial execution, handling of action scenes, and directing of actors are really on point. The casting worked great, so I have no objections in that regard. On the other hand, the script is one of those where the screenwriter searched for impressive twists for so long, that he completely lost himself in the intricacies of the spy service and its adversaries. Secrets of State thematically slightly resembles Besson's La Femme Nikita, where a girl becomes a war machine, and the former college student, who had a completely different idea of life, suddenly becomes a person without a past and living multiple lives at once. By the way, I liked Vahina Giocante more than Anne Parillaud in the past. Overall impression: 60%.

Estoy de acuerdo con el usuario krusty2. Secret défense me atrapó mucho más que las persecuciones mundiales de Jason Bourne. Disfruté principalmente del excelente elenco, el simpático y carismático Gérard Lanvin, el versátil Simon Abkarian, el gracioso Nicholas Duvauchelle, y cuando veo a Vahinavagina en algún lugar, me río. Solo me faltó lo que ya demostró en dos películas: un masaje de pies, esta vez llevó el masaje aún más lejos :-) Le deseo finalmente un papel adecuado. El mayor punto positivo radica en la idea principal de toda la película: los servicios secretos en sus métodos y manipulación de personas no son mejores que los terroristas. En resumen, un thriller de acción de alta calidad e interesante.
