Episodes with various holidays are going very well for the creators, and Mother's Day didn't disappoint me either. I was already touched by the gift giving to Gloria, but the subsequent trip with the kids to nature was even better. Claire was great as usual, and Gloria and Manny really topped it off nicely. The absolute highlight of the fun, however, was Jay's cooking with Phil. I was enjoying myself, except for those two tragedies... // "I'm hungry." "We'll eat what we kill." "Well, I guess we'll be eating our mood then."
