Babička aneb Jak to bylo doopravdy

Writer Bozena Nemcova and her publisher work together on a novel called Babicka (The Grandma). The reason is obvious – Nemcova finds herself in a financial crisis and the publisher sees a chance to profit on the National revival. The movie witnesses Nemcova go back in her childhood (second line) and reveal the real truth to us. The grandma arrives at Stare Belidlo for the first time in 20 years. However, it is not Marie Novakova, but her neighbor Mares, whose likable character makes the entire Prosek family and the princess Zahanska grow fond of him. But the publisher dislikes this story told by Nemcova and alters the book extensively, only to wind up rewriting it from scratch. Which is why the original manuscript hasn't survived. The situation is spiced up by the arrival of the real grandma which leads to an unexpected revelation. The whole family finds itself in quite a dilemma... (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
