Reseña del usuario Necrotongue de esta serie (108)

Season 1 (2010) (S01)

inglés I was quite pleased with the first season. It was a very decent post-apocalyptic story, with great performances and perfect costume design, the zombies looked very life-like:). Episodes 4 and 6 were slightly below average, especially the finale dragged and was very predictable. It's a shame, I think the first season deserved a better send-off. ()

Los días transcurridos (2010) (S01E01)

inglés I really liked the first episode very much. I didn't perceive it as a horror, I watched it as a classic post-apocalyptic affair, which strongly reminded me of the Resident Evil game series on PS1 with some scenes. It was clear that the creators had a lot of fun with the undead, and I enjoyed it. ()

Tripas (2010) (S01E02)

inglés The second episode maintained the quality of the first part, thanks to the new group of survivors, everyone in the streets of Atlanta can play a lot of social games such as hide and seek, tag, cops and robbers, first come, first served, and so on. Once again, I had a great time, so I am very satisfied. ()

Chicos (2010) (S01E04)

inglés The fourth episode seemed weak to me. The intense action at the end slightly improved it, but a Hispanic gang leading a hospice? Oh, sorry, they weren't actually a gang, just random survivors from Atlanta who happened to speak Spanish, which happens maybe once, twice in ten years. A bit weak. ()

Fuego forestal (2010) (S01E05)

inglés How to bury dead friends so they won't come back to settle the score with you? This episode will provide you with a detailed guide. Shane's character continues to develop promisingly, the group has gotten rid of unnecessary baggage and joyfully set off towards promising futures in the CDC. However, I must admit that if Andrea hadn't messed up, I would give the episode a maximum of three stars. ()

TS-19 (2010) (S01E06)

inglés The final episode of the first season disappointed me very much. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so predictable. Dr. Jenner's behavior makes it overly clear who Subject 19 was, and it is also clear how the episode will end. Furthermore, the creators must have known that they wouldn't build up greater suspense through pathetic conversations. ()

Season 2 (2011) (S02)

inglés Season 2 seemed weaker than the first one, but the last two episodes simply blew my mind. The first half of the season wasn’t that exciting, the plot didn't move forward, everything revolved around the search for the missing Sophie, which felt like filler to stretch out the story. The second half saved the situation, but the original six-episode model clearly worked much better. ()

Lo que queda por delante (2011) (S02E01)

inglés After a weak conclusion of the first series, a surprisingly full-blooded episode came, which finally gave the make-up artists a chance to shine and have fun with the migrating herd. The existential debates, which threatened to turn the series into new Lost over time, have decreased, while the outdoor setting has increased, bringing many sharp opportunities. ()

Sangría (2011) (S02E02)

inglés The second episode is not bad, but it's not as good as the previous one. I assume it's because there is too much talking and not enough action again. I don't know why, but whenever characters talk about things that are not very important, I always remember the series Lost, where they talked for so long that after the first season, I lost interest in seeing the continuation. ()

Rosa Cherokee (2011) (S02E04)

inglés The episode was one of the calmer ones, slightly spiced up only by the cleaning of the well, but it wasn't boring nonetheless. The plot may have stayed in one place and essentially not moved, but the creators focused more on the relationships between the characters and the problems they have to solve, so there was something worth watching. ()

Chupacabra (2011) (S02E05)

inglés The fifth episode was pretty meaningless, once again almost no action took place, but unlike the previous episode, even the events in the field of interpersonal relationships were not very interesting, Daryl and the barn won't save it all. ()

Secretos (2011) (S02E06)

inglés After much hesitation, I gave this episode four stars, not because I liked it too much, but it was just slightly better than the previous one. Nevertheless, I have to admit that the plot of the series is gradually disappearing and instead, there is stagnation and monotony. 4* ()

Prácticamente muertos (2011) (S02E07)

inglés Finally! I have experienced a nourishing episode in which the same topic is not repeated over and over again. There is more than enough action here, and to my infinite happiness and joy, I managed to find Sophie, so there will be no more constant running through the forest, which I can enjoy enough in other series, including my beloved The 100. ()

Con el dedo en el gatillo (2012) (S02E09)

inglés I would rate the ninth episode similarly to the previous one. It contains several interesting actions, and it is clear that the biggest danger in the near future will not be the undead but the psychopath Shane. ()

A 30 kilómetros (2012) (S02E10)

inglés This was one of those solid episodes. There was discussion again, but it was a meaningful discussion, the episode was also sufficiently action-packed, I just find the solution to the main problem unnecessarily convoluted. A situation that could be resolved with a hammer is being tackled with a lot of ammunition wasted and scarce gasoline, I guess I'm not much of a humanist. ()

Juez, jurado, verdugo (2012) (S02E11)

inglés Another solid piece again, but it bothers me to constantly hear someone reject someone else's solution and not come up with anything constructive themselves, so the conclusion of the episode didn't derail me in any way. I will always prefer Jeffrey DeMunn in the role of Andrej Čikatyla, I believed him more in that character. ()

Mejores ángeles (2012) (S02E12)

inglés This is what a proper episode should look like! It's not boring, on the contrary, it's full of tension and excellently executed action, there is even a twist at the end, there is nothing to complain about. This time, I didn't have the time or the desire to think about other things because I had to fully focus on the extremely interesting plot. ()

Junto al fuego que se extingue (2012) (S02E13)

inglés Compared to the final episode of the first season, this episode was truly luxurious, but compared to the twelfth episode of the second season, it was just a little bit weaker. Besides a high-quality story and intense action, it also featured beautifully apocalyptic shots of zombies with a burning barn in the background, I think even Hieronymus Bosch would have danced with joy. ()

Season 3 (2012) (S03)

inglés Season 2 was a bit annoying and boring with long pointless discussions and running around the forest for no obvious reason. In contrast, Season 3 was a pleasant surprise. The plot was much better-paced and there was nothing to slow the story down. The only exception was the unfortunate twelfth episode which was absolutely inconsequential to the plot. I appreciate that the creators are not afraid to sacrifice some of the important characters. It makes the story so much more convincing. ()

Semilla (2012) (S03E01)

inglés The first episode of the third series is among those rich in content, the plot doesn't stagnate, something is constantly happening and the viewer cannot have a momentary feeling that this episode was only created to artificially prolong the story. On the contrary, the atmosphere is bleak, tension is not lacking, and there is no reason for a person to think about whether it would be necessary to repaint the apartment. ()
