Abbaga yeojadeul jongahae

There was only one thing I didn't like about this movie. And that was the main storyline. I'll admit I had no idea beforehand what the film was going to be about. I just liked the cast, so I went for it. The first half hour was totally up my alley, and if it weren't for the stupid plot, this would probably be one of the best Korean comedies I've seen. Ji-seok Kim, who was absolutely delightful, and Na-young Lee were perfect together and it was really fun watching them. I finally got to laugh at something instead of crying at it. But once Na-young Lee started dressing up like a man, she wasn't that great. I'm not saying the filmmakers didn't pull it off, they pulled it off pretty well in the end, but I really wish the movie had turned out differently. 3.5 stars. (01.09.2014)
