Nada en el mundo le interesa más a Garfield que comer (y si es una lasaña mejor) y dormir la siesta. Nada, hasta que el musculoso súper gato Garzooka traspasa el mundo del cómic para ir al mundo de la animación trayendo consigo aterradoras noticias. La malvada Vetvix ha atacado el pacífico planeta Dorkon y La malvada Vetvix ha atacado el pacífico planeta Dorkon y robado el invento más valioso y poderoso del universo… Una pistola que combina cualquier objeto e incluso puede mezclar a dos personas. ¡Con ello podrá conquistar ambos mundos! Pero a Vetvix le falta una pieza clave para que la pistola funcione, se trata del cristal Klopman que Garzooka robó y entregó a Garfield. Así que ahora el destino de ambos mundos está en manos, o más bien en patas, del gatito más gordito y vago de la historia… ¿Conseguirán Garfield y su pandilla ganar a la perversa Vetvix en esta lucha interestelar? A kitten was talking behind me: "This is the best movie of my life!" Not mine, admittedly, but the fact is that the 3D was brought out, and considering I don't really enjoy live-action or 2D versions of Garfield shows/movies, this was fine. I thus blissfully accept the whole compact body of these latest stories, starting with Garfield Gets Real and continuing with Garfield's Fun Fest. It’s too bad the merchandising only had the Kentucky Colonel to go along with it.

This is so stupid that it's hard to watch. The colors are crazy, the animation isn't anything special, and Garfield as the star of a sci-fi animated film just doesn't sit well with me. No, Garfield doesn't even work in a 3D animated film because the stories he appears in are just plain stupid.
