Sinopsis(1)

(Warner Bros. España)

inglés I almost can't believe it, but 2011 has brought us a fourth hilarious comedy!!! After the wonderful Hangover, the freaky alien Paul, and Just Go with It, here come the killingly funny Horrible Bosses. And since I mean the killing literally, it makes for a hilarious film full of funny and convoluted situations. I'd have a hard time deciding who was better cast, the creepy bosses or their wacky underlings. The only criticism I have is the rather boring beginning. But after a few minutes a wave of laughter came and it didn't let me go until the end of the film. And the biggest surprise? Aniston looks better as a brunette... awesome! ()

inglés I know it could have been better, less awkwardly painful and not so over the top in places, but I still enjoyed myself royally. And the important thing here aren’t the three idiots who want to kill their bosses (Charlie Day was the most annoying and his motive was the weirdest of all), but the bosses themselves. Colin Farrell is such a total jerk here that I was disappointed he didn’t appear in more scenes. Kevin Spacey is also irresistible in his role of evil psychopath keenly feeding on people like a parasite. And last but not least, we have Jennifer Anniston in one of the best roles of her career. Personally I have no idea why that cretin wanted to kill her. After all, she was so into it (and her role). A lot of the minor roles a pleasing, obvious references to The Wire (Bunk and Cutty) and the excellent Jamie Foxx. It really is a shame, someone more capable could have gotten more out of this topic. The cast would have been perfect for it. ()

inglés And incredibly long, boring, unfunny, awkward and stupid thing that was supposed to be a black comedy. The premise could (and here comes the important word) be like for the Coen brothers, the cast is good, but in the end such crap. Yuck! ()

inglés Even on a second watch, a standard unpretentious comedy with a surprisingly good cast, which doesn’t make you think too hard about its timeless philosophical message. As the film didn't put too much strain on my mental capacity, I could just switch off and have a good time. The quality of the humor was fluctuating, but I enjoyed it quite a lot overall. It even made me laugh out loud a few times, so it did serve its purpose. I think Dale was in the worst situation out of the three bullied employees. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be required to perform physically demanding tasks beyond your job description every single day without getting paid for the extra work. I can’t think of greater emotional stress. Let alone how unsanitary it is. / Lesson learned: Don't cut cocaine with dust. ()

inglés Good comedy is a concept that is gradually fading away, but lately I have a feeling that as soon as you put Jason Bateman in a comedy, it becomes quite successful. For me personally, the film "Horrible Bosses" was definitely a success because I laughed a lot while watching it. A trio of employees whose bosses are truly terrible. One has a female boss who not only haress him sexually, she openly invites him to have sex. One wonders why the fool resists, when the woman is Jennifer Aniston, who doesn't have a bad figure, but the guy is in love with someone else and wants to be faithful. The second one thought he would be promoted, instead he gets a new boss, the idiotic son of the former boss, who unfortunately died tragically. And the third guy has a truly insane boss with the face of Kevin Spacey, who is one of those bosses who have no problem shooting someone because they looked at him wrong. These guys hire a professional who tells them how to do it. They have to perform the act themselves. The film is full of funny situations, interesting twists that take your breath away at times. It's not a movie that will leave you excited for months and will make you want to talk about it all the time, but it's a film that will make your evening very enjoyable, and you will fall asleep knowing that you had a good laugh once again. inglés The main draws are the great supporting actors with their equally great characters (with Jennifer Aniston, the "character" can of course be seen as a homonym.) The central trio, with Bateman standing out (whose frequent stony expressions are absolutely magnificent), entertain the viewer mostly in the spirit of cheesy, over-the-top, and frankly some pretty silly gags at times. On the other hand, I enjoyed it as a whole, I liked its message (no awkward morality tale or desperate attempt at transcendence), and some scenes are still in my memory to this day. Definitely one of the better comedies of recent times. The fourth star is for a couple of lines that totally got me :)) --- YOU’RE MY BITCH. --- ()
