Break es cuestión de matemática pura. Un bosque, una escapada idílica, un paisaje de postal, cuatro chatis de viaje de solteras y dos hombretones (uno sucio y el otro con cara retorcida) con muy malas intenciones y una ballesta entre las manos. ¿El resultado de esta suma? Un baño de sangre, perverso deseo carnal y partes del cuerpo perforadas. Un survival al más puro estilo del terror salvaje, que propina el golpe definitivo cuando las féminas se hartan de tanta tortura aplicada en sus tiernas carnes y, enfundadas en sus camisetas mojadas (de sangre), deciden tomarse la justicia por su mano. Other users here speak about a redneck slasher, but Break is actually an environmentalist film about an eco-group that protects the beautiful mountain wilderness from the attack of a dangerous pest in the form of almost two-metre tall cows; especially the most dangerous of them, the black cow. Even though I’m generally against radical ecology, here I had to agree with even the most brutal solution. The first half hour almost killed me.
