Snaživého starosty mi bylo místy hodně líto, ale s některými zatvrzelými povahami holt příliš nenadělá. Zdá se, že je jednodušší pro vesnici zařídit bazén či snížit nezaměstnanost, než dát dohromady nezadané a pasivní třicátníky. Já jsem mu celou dobu fandil. K vyššímu hodnocení mi chybí trochu větší aktivita režisérky, zdálo se mi, že s protagonisty málo komunikuje a jen pozoruje. Me dio pena en algunos momentos el diligente alcalde, pero con algunas personalidades obstinadas simplemente no se puede hacer mucho. Parece más fácil construir una piscina o reducir el desempleo en el pueblo que reunir a solteros pasivos de treinta años. Siempre estuve a su favor. Para tener una evaluación más alta, me falta un poco más de actividad de la directora, me pareció que comunicaba poco con los protagonistas y solo observaba. (05.06.2011)

The most interesting thing about the movie is that something like Zemplínske Hámre actually exists and the film presents it to us. Even today, such a phenomenon is strange, on the other hand, it shows that human socialization is sometimes simply problematic. However, the documentary itself doesn't really say anything crucial, it doesn't judge, it just observes, which I find a pity, and that's why the movie didn't grab me so much. (28.11.2014)
