Sinopsis(1)

Animated comedy following the loveable plasticine pals in which they set up a lucrative window cleaning business. While working they meet wool shop owner Wendolene (Anne Reid) and Wallace becomes infatuated with her. Meanwhile, Gromit becomes interested in the case of some disappearing sheep, believing Wendolene's dog to be responsible. However, the devious dog frames Gromit and Wallace must pull himself together in time to save the reputation of his friend. (2 Entertain Video)

inglés At first glance, this short looks like an ordinary fairy tale for kids, but its detailed plot construction, creative management of the viewer's attention and perfectly condensed plot, which under certain circumstances could cover a feature film, make it an almost unique and inspiring piece of work. The way in which the script generates tension and curiosity, or how it manages to convey crucial plot information briefly and on multiple levels, is truly exemplary. There is no other half-hour animated film that deals the viewer all the essential motivational cards at the beginning, and yet still manages to have them entertained, tense and surprised. A striking proof that even in these cinematic sub-worlds it is possible to talk about a complex and refined art... ()
