The year is 1912. Aboard the luxurious ocean liner, Titanic, the Winfields have a lot to celebrate. They toast the engagement of their daughter, Edwina, and her sister's sixth birthday. The glamorous TV star Kelly Rutherford may never have made a dent in the world, but she has always elevated all the projects she has been involved in with her natural elegance. Including Melrose Place and Gossip Girl. The same is true in this very superior adaptation of Steele's very interesting work on the survivors of a tragedy called the Titanic. Thus we encounter a story that should make not only feminists happy, but especially anyone who understands the importance of the development of women's emancipation in the period before and after World War I.
