inglés Don't you think this might just be a case where truth and justice are not the same thing? Two parallel storylines. One in the present about completing the filming of a documentary about a case that had provoked wide-spread public debate in the sixties. The controversial death sentence for murder on the basis of convincing evidence, but without the admission of the suspect and without the victim’s body being found. And the second storyline covers the course of investigations at the time, but only how they are remembered by the man telling the story forty-five years later. And believe it or not, new facts begin to surface that fundamentally change the view on everything... But don’t worry, no clichés here. Just good honest filmmaking, great characters, emotions, suspense, a well-thought out story and mainly the excellent Lee Ingleby in the role of a detective about whom it is very hard to form an clear opinion, but whose deeds are fully understandable (but whether they are justifiable is another thing altogether) in the light of all possible viewpoints and the gradually surfacing information.
