Daisaku Kita (Yujiro Ishihara) is a pop culture sensation - he is stalked by the media his every waking hour – appearing in motion pictures, guest appearances on talk shows and occasionally writing. He and Noriko (Ruriko Asaoka), his part-manager/part-lover, decide to restrict themselves from any intimacy between them until the "right time". Burnt out from the celebrity life style, Daisaku is at the pits of boredom - until he is acquainted with Yoshiko Igawa. (Nikkatsu)
