Beautiful Czech film that shows that we were indeed capable of making great comedic and parodic films, we just forgot about it properly. Martin Frič was an incredibly confident and self-assured director, who leads brilliantly both the spoken and the few silent scenes. Add to that excellent actors who are not afraid to overact. And the effect is perfect.
