Xingu: La misión al Amazonas

Cinemax made me incredibly happy once again when they prepared for me for Sunday night a movie that was exactly to my liking. Xingu is a Brazilian movie that in my opinion is very topical now. It shows what the Spaniards did when they invaded Brazilian soil and decided to subdue it. With Xingu you know well how it’s going to end and what’s going to be happening in the movie, but despite all that it is a clear historical representation of the times and of the people on both sides. An excellently made movie in all respects, which arose my interest, educated me and showed me a world I don’t get to see very often in movies. (24.02.2013)
