Alien Origin doesn't work as found footage because it's simply not believable, and it's all too unprofessional. It doesn't work as horror because there's nothing to be afraid of, and it doesn't work as a mind game with the audience. Alien Origin is actually one of the worst found footage films, and indeed films in general, that I have had the misfortune to see. An unnecessary watch.
