Una mañana al amanecer, en un suburbio de Bobigny, cerca de un local de apuestas clandestinas, es encontrado el cuerpo sin vida de Eponine Chaligny, esposa de Jean-Éric Chaligny, uno de los hombres más influyentes de Francia, en medio del clima social extremo que sacude a Francia las últimas semanas. Esa mañana dos mundos opuestos se cruzarán: Ousmane Diakité, oficial de la sección financiera de Bobigny, y François Monge, capitán de la policía judicial de París. Talking about a main story of the crime comedy "Unusable" doesn't make sense. A pair of police officers, each from a different district, each from a different world, have to come together and solve a rather uninteresting case. But because there is chemistry between them, it's fun to watch. However, that chemistry doesn't work between them. It's just a pile of not very interesting and not very funny scenes that can temporarily capture your attention, but overall it's nothing that could truly entertain you for an hour and a half. It lacks a proper climax. It's a shame that the hinted themes - racism, cultural differences, social differences - are not further explored. Everything is subordinated to making it entertaining. It's not. And that's just bad. A French film that is French only in the language spoken in it. It resembles more of an unfinished American comedy.
