Sinopsis(1)

The creators of slapstick comedies featuring Girotti and Pedersoli faced two significant challenges. The first task fell to the post-production sound engineer, who had to perfectly time the sounds of body punches, face hits, and the subtly different sound of a slap (the so-called “Bud Spencer slap”). In cases of a mutual slap, the sound resembled a knife being pulled from a door. The second challenge was for the screenwriter, who needed to craft a way to bring the two characters together by chance at the start. After that, it was all straightforward: someone gets hit, a slap, someone gets hit, a slap, someone spectacularly gets hit, wealth is gained, and a good deed follows. All filled with layers of childish humor of varying degrees of awkwardness. I was particularly high here. ()

inglés Truly one of the Spencer-Hill highlights. This time, the runtime doesn't matter in the slightest, because something is always happening in the film, and that "something" is never the same as what happened a moment ago. Personally, my favorite of all the well-crafted situations and perfectly timed jokes is the pub fight scene in which Terence Hill impersonates an invalid and Bud Spencer plays a retarded deaf-mute - it's a real gem. inglés Spencer and Hill may have made funnier films, but for their fans, this is a safe bet. Brawl after brawl, and some scenes, especially the unintentional robbery of the police station, are brilliant... 80% ()

inglés An excellent comedy, where I immensely enjoyed how two drifters, purely by chance and by entering the wrong door, end up becoming policemen. This is so absurd that it's just entertaining. Then it drags on with them being very unorthodox policemen. I enjoy Bud and Terence now even more than I did when I was a kid. ()
