On their first day of college, Elizabeth Carter met Mitch Becker and the two immediately became friends. Although for Mitch, Elizabeth was always more than just a friend. On graduation day, Elizabeth shocks Mitch by making him an "offer he can't refuse." She says that if neither one of them is married in 10 years - they should marry each other! Cut to... Ten years later and Mitch is still single. Not a big surprise since he has never gotten over Elizabeth, who he thinks had gotten married years ago. However, his best friend, Dave tells Mitch the marriage never happened so she's still single. Thinking he's been given another chance, Mitch drops everything and heads cross-country to take Elizabeth up on her offer. What he soon realizes is it wont be as simple as he thought. (HBO Europe)

I didn’t know what I was getting into, which means I wasn’t repelled by the poor reviews here. However, at the beginning I was asking myself what kind of bullshit I decided to watch. The best part was when the two guys dared each other in the pub and started whipping each other with a wet rolled up towel trying to decide who can take more. I felt as if I was five again, playingin the sandbox with my cousin competing about who will build a bigger sand cake using the same bucket.
