Lately, quite a few movies have been released where action girls are the main protagonists. Whether it's "Violet & Daisy" or "Spring Breakers". "Concrete Blondes" follows a similar spirit, only trying to be a bit more straightforwardly funny. The script indulges in various time jumps, which are somewhat clumsily introduced so as not to confuse the viewer, making sure they immediately understand what's going on. However, a few good scenes, which are definitely not great, can't save the script itself, resulting in a boring ride with one interesting heroine who is unnecessarily sidelined.
