The Spanish approach is quite interesting, it is very similar to the Italian one in its nature and tendency towards gentle naturalism. That is definitely not a problem. This film is not ashamed to depict what it sees. That is good. The fact that the finale is a bit weaker and perhaps too drawn out is another matter. It is not helped by the strange music, which feels like it belongs on TV. However, the film has an idea and manages to present it in an interesting way, unfortunately it fails to give it a strong conclusion.
