Sinopsis(1)
En su juventud, Ricki decide abandonar a toda su familia para alcanzar su sueño de ser una importante, rica y famosa estrella de rock. Años más tarde, su ex marido Pete contacta con ella pidiéndole que viaje hasta Chicago para visitar a la hija que tienen en común, Julie, pues se está divorciando y está pasando por un momento muy duro.
