Celine is a magician and mythomaniac. Julie is a librarian lost in her memories of childhood. They meet by chance, strike up a friendship, confide in each other, and, fleeing reality, move to an old, calm house where they start imagining a whole other incredible existence full of adventures. They each get caught up in their own game, and, willingly slipping away from reality, invent fantasies nourished by dreams, memories and desires. I'm sorry, but I just absolutely didn't enjoy this. Watching a film for three hours that pretends to play with reality and intertwines various events from the perspective of two women who are having fun... No, these are really not as eccentric "Daisies" as people say, they didn't give me anything at all, and I really wished for the film to finally end.
