Mary Jo Walker es una mujer que no acaba de sentar la cabeza: ha tenido tres maridos y unos cuantos novios. Cada vez que fracasa una de estas relaciones, coge a su hija Ava, toma la carretera y parte para otro lugar. Ava, con doce años, se siente desarraigada y sin hogar. The Czech title of this movie (Wandering Shoes) immediately reminded me of campfire songs about wandering shoes. That got my attention and I thought that this movie might be good, even though I didn’t know what it’s about. I imagined an enjoyable film about traveling and exploring new countries, opinions and people and in the end I got some absolutely mediocre drama about a mother and a daughter. The title did its job, but the enthusiasm dropped in the first picosecond.
