On her first shift, a security guard discovers a horrifying presence lurking within the bowels of the guarded building. With her nerves on edge, she must confront demons both real and imagined as she struggles to keep a grip on her sanity. Our story takes place over the course of one night where a strikingly beautiful woman Julia Streak begins her new job as a security guard for the corporation that owns a once upscale, now abandoned apartment complex. On site she meets Cooper, a brusque rent-a-cop assigned as her partner for the evening. As the night progresses, the building comes to life toying sadistically with Streak's mind. But is it the building, Cooper, or a vagrant in the area that are really the ones terrorizing her? Streak's curiosity to find the truth leads her down a dangerous path where she discovers the complex's dark secret...that it once served as an abusive, neglectful center for physically and psychologically impaired children. It’s hard to believe that in 2016 someone would seriously try to be scary with the ghost of an abandoned child, without bringing to it anything more than the most stupid dialogues by the most stupid characters and the even more stupid, weak and helpless twist with which any horror movie could end. Though it does have something interesting, that a happy end for one side it’s not a happy end for the other, but the film should have worked it out completely differently in order to have any emotional effect.

It has some atmosphere, which must definitely be appreciated, so I consider it a positive aspect of the movie. It is not really a scary horror, but the creators still tried, whether by not including too many jump scares or by building a basic atmosphere. Additionally, it is overall a bit strange, but still quite inconsistent and predictable.
