This is such a strange movie that I can't say I didn't like it, but I also can't say that I was jumping for joy. It's like if this was a predecessor to "Flash Gordon". The film is on the verge of serious sci-fi and comedic space opera, and it suits it quite well. The characters are good and well acted for the purposes of the film.
