Sinopsis(1)
El segundo hijo de Mac (Seth Rogen) y Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) viene de camino, y los felices padres están decididos a ser auténticos adultos y mudarse a las afueras. Pero cuando creían haber recuperado el barrio y que sería fácil vender su casa, se enteran de que una fraternidad femenina acaba de alquilar la casa vecina y que las chicas están mucho más descontroladas que Teddy (Zac Efron) y sus hermanos. Cansadas del sistema sexista y restrictivo de la universidad, las poco ortodoxas chicas de Kappa Nu quieren un local donde desmelenarse y hacer lo que les venga en gana. A classic sequel with everything that entails. Sometimes it will make you feel like throwing up and every now and then it draws its best jokes from the first part. I did watch it until the end, but I would love to run hooks through the mouths of that alpha-girl group and hang them somewhere out to dry.

The sequel to Neighbors loses nothing compared to the first part, which offered quite a brisk and light summer fun to unwind. On the one hand, it is an average comedy with a simple script, but on the other hand, I laughed out loud more than once, which is the most important thing in this genre. Of course, there were a few obvious moralising nuggets of wisdom, but you can find them almost everywhere nowadays, so what the hell. The scenes that blew me away the most were the Minions and the attempted escape from the garage. In short, a decent second part, which, in the context of gender balance, offers this time more female characters, who, however, do not lag behind the male cast and properly and give the main characters a run for their money.

Me sorprendo a mí mismo y no puedo explicarme por qué estaba viendo la segunda parte cuando la primera me decepcionó tanto y no me gustó. Supongo que quería desconectarme y escuchar una tontería total para desahogarme. Es básicamente la misma canción, pero honestamente debo admitir que la segunda parte es más exitosa que la primera. La mayor decepción es el tiempo, ni siquiera un minuto, sino segundos en los que aparece Selena Gomez en el escenario. Quizás no habrá una tercera...

I expected it to be bad, and in the end, it was. There are jokes that are entertaining, but the whole plot is kind of painfully ordinary, and moreover, you constantly feel like it's just the same thing you saw in the first movie. Repetitive, except that it tries to play on the idea that you've grown attached to the characters, they've progressed, and you're curious about the direction it took. Nothing groundbreaking.
