An excellently executed finale of the first season. Despite a wide range, the creators managed to cover all profitable activities and lead them to a properly prepared continuation for the second series. In addition, they managed to touch on the then "progressive treatment" of homosexuality. In comparison to that, I really don't understand how today's gay people can complain about how difficult things are for them. Another darker experience was Ruby's fate, and if something really amused me, it was the discovery of preferences at porn booths.
