The mystery of the cursed videotape continues in this bone-chilling sequel to Ringu. While investigating the horrifying death of her boyfriend, Mai Takano (Miki Nakatani) learns about a videotape haunted by the spirit of a disturbing girl named Sadako, which kills anyone who watches it exactly one week later. En términos de dirección, es tan brillante como la primera The Ring: El círculo, la atmósfera y los escalofríos en las escenas más nítidas ruedan a toda máquina. Pero no se pudo hacer una gran película a partir de ese guión. Nada original en comparación con el anterior, a veces con escenas concretas robadas de la primera.
