Sinopsis(1)

Esta desternillante película recrea la histórica carrera aérea que se celebró en 1910 entre Londres y París, con la participación de los más grandes aviadores del mundo, reunidos bajo los auspicios del pretencioso pero riquísimo editor de un periódico que decide patrocinar una competición aérea a través del Canal de la Mancha, dotándola de un premio de diez mil libras esterlinas para el ganador. Las escaramuzas entre las tripulaciones (de nacionalidad americana, británica, francesa, alemana, italiana y japonesa) provocan las más atrevidas, hilarantes y acrobáticas maniobras aéreas de la historia de la cinematografía.
