The thirtysomething Paula was unpleasant and unbelievably annoying at the beginning, but I have to say I enjoyed watching her stumble aimlessly through life after her boyfriend left her and how, after a few painful falls on her face, she turned out to be a pretty nice woman. Apart from the unusually loud hysterics of the central character, my ears were also kept busy by a very good soundtrack by Julie Roué. (75%) ()
From absolute irritation to surprising harmony - Paula describes an interesting trajectory from a passive, manipulative kicked-aside hysteric to a woman who, despite all the mistakes and setbacks, is able to determine the direction of her life. An unpretentious and intelligent tribute to female tenacity, a drama of everyday mistakes and embarrassments, closeness and chasms. Great respect for the extremely sensitive, detailed directing by Léonor Séraille, and the great performance by Laetitie Dosch. ()
