Land of Smiles

Abby arrives in Bangkok to meet up with her best friend on a backpacking adventure through paradise. Instead she receives a video with her friend tied to a chair, terrified, and being held in a dungeon. A madman in a clown mask invites Abby to play a game. A game of hide-and-seek through Thailand in which Abby's hope is to rescue her friend. As Abby's adventure unfolds, she continues to question the legitimacy of what's going on, and unknowingly she becomes the centerpiece of a sociopath's cinematic vision.
