After one too many injuries, hockey enforcer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is forced to give up his aspirations of going to the big show and settle into a buttoned down career as an insurance salesman at the urging of his pregnant wife Eva (Alison Pill). Unfortunately, this sequel provides almost nothing interesting. The only thing that stands out is the bloody fights, which I liked. But otherwise, the nostalgia and melodrama are about nothing, because you simply don't connect with the characters that well. Jay Baruchel shouldn't have been in this film at all, he should have just stayed behind the camera.
