Honestly, this episode wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t left with two nagging questions. First, why do John and Maureen act like complete idiots when it comes to the gun? There’s not a hint of suspicion towards June ("Dr. Smith"). Anyone could have taken it, right? Anyone who guessed that 11-year-old Will might have guns stashed under his bed. Second, how did the tunnel from the tar pit not collapse immediately after John cut it and released the internal pressure? Divine intervention, maybe? Plus, I’m no doctor, but I’ve heard that performing CPR with bent elbows isn’t exactly effective...
