La Federación de Baile es una poderosa organización que no quiere que ninguno de sus miembros haga las cosas por su cuenta. Esta Federación tiene sus propias normas, entre las que estipula lo que se puede y lo que no se puede hacer en las salas de baile profesionales. Scott Hastings es un bailarín con mucho talento. Liz es su pareja de baile. Ambos se entienden a la perfección, y tienen muchas posibilidades de ganar el Gran Premio Pan Pacific. Pero todo se va al garete cuando a Scott se le ocurre improvisar con unos pasos que no están permitidos por la Federación. Por este motivo, Liz le abandona. Scott se queda sin pareja de baile a consecuencia de su atrevimiento. La salvación se presenta con Fran, una bailarina principiante, pero con una calidad indiscutible. (Filmayer S.A.)

I give a big plus for the song "Time after Time" – it's been on my favorites list for a while, so hearing it put a big smile on my face :-)) Otherwise, about the movie – a totally average movie about love and passion in dance. And pasodoble is indeed a dance full of passion. If you need to switch off your brain for a moment, just kind of survive with a movie, this is a good fit.

This is one of those movies where you initially think it will be a cheesy melodrama, but when you watch it for a while, you realize that this is exactly the kind of melodrama you want to see. It's beautifully romantic, it's wonderfully crazy, and overall it just creates a lovely impression, and at the end, you enjoy the finale in a similar way to how you enjoyed "Dirty Dancing," just not as electrifying.
