House is an American movie that straddles comedy and horror. However, that line is not very well established, and it is as if those elements are at times mutually exclusive and do not blend very well overall. Despite that, this is a movie with many interesting ideas and even more interesting executions, with the practical effects being very well done. It will probably make you laugh more than recoil in horror, though. ()
