Muñeca rusa (2019)

inglés The authors of the series have really outdone themselves. The first two episodes bummed me out so much that if it hadn’t been for Natasha Lyonne in the lead role, whom I love especially for her vocal expression, I would have probably quit watching. But that would have been a shame because the writing significantly improved in the episodes that followed. It was no longer boring, and I started enjoying myself. I can't help feeling that the creators had been putting me on all along. ()

En este mundo nada es sencillo (2019) (S01E01)

inglés I'm not particularly impressed by the first episode. The first round held some promise, but then it kind of fizzled out, failing to grab my attention. Those two stars are solely for Natasha Lyonne because listening to her voice is pure bliss. And every time I see her, it makes me think of the wolf from Well, Just You Wait! You know, the way she dangles a cigarette from the corner of her mouth. That never gets old. ()

La gran evasión (2019) (S01E02)

inglés It seems I'm solely sticking around for Natasha Lyonne's presence in the show. I can't think of any other reason, especially when only about seven out of the twenty-eight minutes truly pique my interest. With such short episodes, I hoped for a more engaging plot. I wouldn't mind skipping a few uncreative deaths to make room for that. ()

Un cuerpo caliente (2019) (S01E03)

inglés I found myself surprisingly entertained. This episode felt unexpectedly complex, breaking away from the cycle of party-death-party-death... Especially with that ending, hinting at some real progression in the story. ()

La rutina de Alan (2019) (S01E04)

inglés The episode was essentially a repeat of the introductory episode, just with a different main character. Despite that, I gave it an extra star for breaking the routine. ()

Complejo de superioridad (2019) (S01E05)

inglés At last, I stumbled upon an episode that really clicked for me, breaking the cycle and pushing the story forward. Alan's character injected some much-needed freshness into the plot, and I loved diving into all the theories. The potential partnership between Nadia and Alan seems like it could be a game-changer for the series. ()

Reflejos (2019) (S01E06)

inglés What a blast! Watching those two resurrected characters team up was exactly what I hoped for, and I'm genuinely curious about the disappearing objects and Alan's fish. It's just a shame the series didn't kick off with this kind of energy! ()

La salida (2019) (S01E07)

inglés Wow, talk about a plot twist! After a sluggish start, this episode was a wild ride, packed with enough psycho moments to keep me on the edge of my seat. Those earlier episodes had me yawning, but now I'm thrilled I hung in there. ()

Ariadna (2019) (S01E08)

inglés The series wrapped up on a high note, and it's a shame the beginning didn't match up. But hey, they nailed the battle against the time loop, and I gotta hand it to them for handling those different time dimensions like pros. Makes me wonder if I accidentally slipped into some boring parallel universe during the first half. Well, I'm not about to go kill myself to find out. ()
