Katherine Newberry (Emma Thompson) fue la primera mujer en tener un talk-show. Pero, después de casi 30 años, ha perdido relevancia y podría perder su lugar. The closing film of the 54th edition of the Karlovy Vary IFF. I understand the intention of offering the viewers something lighter after a nine-day marathon of heavy-duty festival films, but this is too much. A by-the-numbers American comedy about improving a clumsy heroine with almost more liberal agenda (literal, loud and annoyingly moralising) than jokes. Something like this has no place in a festival. #KVIFF2019
