Aunque sea por ninguna razón, por pura nostalgia, tengo que otorgar a la serie "Chobotnice" la máxima calificación. Cuando era un niño pequeño en el jardín de infancia, solo era Cattani, nadie más tenía derecho. Después de años, cuando completamente olvidé toda la trama, volví a ver "Chobotnice" y el paso del tiempo no ha dejado ninguna huella en ella. Es una obra atemporal sobre la lucha inútil contra la mafia y señala el hecho de que solo una persona sin familia y a la que no le importa la vida de los demás ni la suya propia puede enfrentarse a ella.

If someone says Italian series, The Octopus automatically springs to mind first. And why not, indeed. Neither the almost indecently impoverished appearance, nor the rather plodding take-off do anything to change that. You know the deal. Of course, it takes a while before a locomotive gets up to speed, but try stopping it once it is cruising. And almost all negatives are compensated for with the “ominous" musical motif, the uncompromising screenplay and excellently written dialogs typical of the eighties.
