At the request of her mother, Hille, Eeva travels from Estonia to Bogotá, Colombia to search for her drug-addicted, alcoholic half-brother, Lauri. The last time her mother heard from Lauri was 6 months earlier and she fears something might have happened to him. Eeva starts looking for her brother in a city of 9 million people, where over 14,000 live in the streets. She has to take a deep dive into the underworld of Bogotá, the world of her brother. As her quest continues, Eeva eventually begins to look at her brother and her mother under a different light — and she sees glimpses of the fragility that they all share until an unexpected resolution happens.
