Hazel Woodus (Jennifer Jones) es una muchacha crecida entre la naturaleza, que vive en los confines de Shropshire a finales del siglo XIX. Emeric Pressburger and Michael Powell were truly great directorial duo and for me they prove it with essentially every film. With The Wild Heart, you don't know what to expect, but when you realize it, you understand that these two melodramas have elevated it into something incredibly powerful and emotional, and it’s not pandering. The ending can really tug at your heartstrings.
