inglés An almost brilliant adaptation of the novel, plus a wonderful update of a slightly hackneyed series. Poirot brought ethically ad absurdum, from "whodunit" detective novels to an astringent and at first unbearably intense drama about justice. If it weren't for a few hideous digital mashes, it would be a masterful structure undershot by Suchet's dark side of power and a rather unconventional instance of God, who this time will triumph over the power of the detective's rationality. Never before has Poirot been so vulnerable to what he investigates - and he has never been so consistently helpless and defeated. Philip Martin did a brilliant job and for me he made the most special and distinguished Poirot, which, personally completely got me with its rawness, darkness and breaking of the solid framework of the traditional detective story. inglés Poirot can be seen here as a broken man. A MAN. His grey brain cells still work, but that unshakable faith of his with which he judges all criminals has been shattered, which is why this treatment is the best of all for me, not to mention that it surpasses even the book. Very successful, not to mention a perfect plot and an excellent climax. And of course great performances, because without them it would have been half-hearted. Even though I know Murder on the Orient Express like the back of my hand, I watched it slowly with the feeling that I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen – I just genuinely enjoyed it. inglés This story totally got me, not only because of Agatha's excellent foundation, but also because of the execution. An immensely dark story, where Suchet reserves himself and mostly maintains only one acting position, which adds to the depression. Overall, the environment is beautifully captured and adds to the overall impression of the story, which is definitely non-traditional and powerful. ()
