While Poirot is checking his account, the chairman of his bank is waiting for a Chinese man. This man is expected to sell the bank a map showing the location of a lost silver mine. When Mr Wu Ling is found dead near the Red Dragon Casino at the docks, Inspector Japp becomes excited at the prospect of breaking a drugs ring he has been pursuing for several years.
