Jennifer Reed (Tracy Brooks Swope) is recovering from the whirlwind of passion and lies that lead her to kill her abusive husband in the original Inner Sanctum. In her fragile mental state she is cared for by her personal doctor (David Warner) and his gorgeous young nurse (Jennifer Ciesar). Her sanity is soon pushed to the brink by her treacherous brother in law (Michael Nouri), his wife (Sandahl Bergman) and his lover (Margot Hemingway). A bizarre and evil plot is devised to rob Jennifer of her fortune. All the while, Jennifer is being stalked by a mysterious intruder.
