El padre Lamont es enviado por su cardenal para que investigue la muerte del padre Merrin y la causa de la posesión de la joven Regan por el demonio Pasuzu. Lamont viajará a África para investigar la posesión de otro hombre por un demonio llamado Kokumo, al que el padre Merrin había realizado un exorcismo años atrás. "The Exorcist 2: The Heretic" is an unnecessary movie. That's just how it is. There is nothing happening here that would truly be crucial for the series, it just dilutes what was introduced in the legendary first film and turns it into a bit of a circus, relying on good actors who don't have roles that are worthwhile and where they could showcase anything. The most memorable is Linda Blair, who is the mascot of this series.
