Supernova cuenta la historia de amor de una pareja (Colin Firth y Stanley Tucci) que decide convertir el final de la vida en una celebración de la amistad, el amor y la felicidad que han podido compartir juntos. La pareja decide emprender un viaje por carretera para volver a ver a amigos y familiares y visitar esos lugares que recorrieron en el pasado. "I want to be remembered for who I was, not for who I'm about to become." Supernova is an intimate film with all of the trappings, but it manages to convey deep ideas in such a small space. The film stands especially on the grounded performances of Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci, who manage to portray a long-suffering couple facing a difficult life test to perfection. The melancholic undertone is supported by a likable musical score that perfectly complemented the poignant story of Sam and Tusker. In addition, I praise the beautiful locations and the engaging metaphorical concept of the fading stars in connection with human life. Still, despite its strong story and solid performances, I felt that Supernova was somewhat underwritten and stilted. Better three stars! PS: "You have to let me go!"
