Sinopsis(1)
La historia lleva a Alan Ladd, un pistolero retirado y vagabundo, a salir en defensa de una familia de granjeros que viven aterrorizados por un rico ganadero y un pistolero contratado por éste. Cuando se enfrenta a la última y decisiva batalla, Shane ve llegado el final de su propia forma de vida.
