La tragedia de las guerras civiles acontecidas en Centroamérica en los años ochenta. Inspirado en un hecho real, este duro drama recoge la experiencia personal de Richard Boyle, reportero norteamericano, durante su estancia en El Salvador en los inicios de la década de los años 80. El fuerte impacto que le causa desvelar poco a poco la cruda realidad que descubre por él mismo, y en la que sin darse cuenta estará cada vez más comprometido, hará que tome partido y llegue a sus propias conclusiones.
