inglés The beginning of the first season of Dagashi Kashi is a bit crazy, and it is quite over-the-top in places. When I watched the first episode, I felt that I was watching something like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because the main female protagonist was as wacky as Willy Wonka. However, there appears to be no method to her madness or at least something that would make me think of her as more than just an energetic lunatic. Also, the rest of the characters were very unrestrained/extreme, and, in general, a lot of scenes in the first episode were completely excessive, rubbed salt into the wound, and were frankly weird. The sad fact is that I did not laugh at all during the first episode, so all that attempt at overplayed humor came up empty. I did not like the animation, I did not notice the soundtrack much, and the characters were more weird than interesting. During the next episodes, I once again got the surreal feeling that I was watching teleshopping or a candy commercial. They showed me how to eat candies and I picked up some interesting facts about them even though I was not interested in them at all. The original fun and exaggeration were gone, and it was as if the mighty power of "merchandising" was awakening. I would have been happier for the original "insane" concept, and this show is now slowly starting to bore me... 3/10 ()
