Captain Carruthers is summoned to remote Tokot, where the Khan suspects his brother, Prince Ghul is plotting to overthrow him and therefore wants a treaty with the British to safeguard the throne for his son, Prince Azim.
The exciting climax builds as British Soldiers aid the young Prince in his struggle against usurping his uncle.
